silencer, advent of technology
I think Blaxstone would have approved.
Ethan Wright has a dream of creating a new superhero, a college student.
And he has brought that dream to kickstarter to garner the needed funds.
I managed to clock in just under the wire with my backing of his cause.
Whew!
This is my first funding of a comic book.
No, no, no, you may say. What about Chromazoid?
Ah, there is a difference, mi amigo. That was an anthology, which means multiple artists submitted their individual comics for the collection.
THIS will be a single story line, from one group of artists/writers.
A unique story line, I might add.
I'm going to look forward to that very much.
I only wish The Comic Box was still around so I could share it with the good folks there.

Update #4

Project Completion
Hey everyone! I'd first like to thank you all for your participation in this. Not only was the goal completed, but it was exceeded which means so much to me. To get the not-so-good news out of the way, the previous artist Stas had to drop out due to issues in his personal life. Thankfully, I was able to find a talented replacement who's very excited about the project. I've had to fill him in on everything very quickly, but he's been able to handle a great deal of information in a very short amount of time. Because of this, the comic won't be coming out until January. The good news is that the other rewards will be sent this month, and as a thank you everyone will be given a free Silencer T-shirt. Also, when the comic comes out, each person will be given two copies of the comic for them to give to a friend.
Please e-mail me your T-shirt size and address for me to send the rewards. For those who are coming up with a story, I'll request for them when the artist is closer to wrapping up the book. You can e-mail me at EthanA.Wright@gmail.com.
Once again, I'd like to think all those for being involved in this and I know you'll like the end result.

Silencer Cast
Hey everyone! Hope you all had a very nice holiday. Finishing touches are being put on the packages, so I wanted to show everyone the rest of Silencer's cast. Vik, Landon and Vik's sister Sona are already known, which brings us to Aubrey and Elise.
Aubrey is a med student who also aspires to be an actress. She's Sona's friend and tends to like the finer things in life. Vik has a giant crush on her that is not reciprocated by Aubrey. Elise is also Sona's friend. She's free-spirited and doesn't yet know what she wants to do in life yet. She takes ballet class with Sona and works at a retail store until she figures her life out. Elise likes Vik, but he shows no interest in her in that way.
More updates later!

I'd like to thank everyone for their participation and interest. For those who are to contribute a story, please E-mail me at EthanA.Wright@gmail.com and we can hash out the details. Here's a 6-page preview from the first issue. Thanks again!
