the flight
Wow. A film about daring to hope for more, daring to believe a different truth, daring to venture into the unknown.
This young woman seems to have crafted a fine science fiction/ post-apocalytic tale with a protagonist who is also a young woman.
A young lesbian woman.
But her sexuality is not the focus here. Her sexuality is simply one facet of her life.
As one's sexuality should be.
Brava!
I have chosen to use a generous chunk of money to help this project come to life.
I do wish it much success!

Hello The Flight Supporters!
First and foremost, I would like to thank you for your generous support. Some of you have sent messages, and the kindness of your words, as well as the support from other members of the LGBT community has been amazing. I am so happy to see evidence of the proof that film making and the power of an idea can really make a difference.
As an update, we are two weeks from filming and already so much has come together. I can not express to you how much the generosity of others has really helped shape this film. People have donated props, money, time, energy and overall exceeded my expectations of support. I will keep everyone updated about the movie's progress, and if anyone can think of anyone else I should contact, please let me know. Since the kickstarter is drawing to a close within the next 8 days, we will be paying special attention to sending emails and getting the word out.

Hi Faustina,
Although we've never officially met, I wanted to give you a quick update about what's been going on with The Flight. I remember all last year, when we were creating the first fundraising campaign and then after Revealed, receiving encouraging messages about the film. I really appreciated it and still do. It's nice to know there are others that are passionate about the stories I am looking to tell.
We launched a new fundraising campaign on Indiegogo to send The Flight to more festivals.

There are movie stills and some beautiful behind the scenes photos (courtesy of Mr. Rosario Edwards). And the film will be available for the cast and crew to watch on Vimeo on October 25th. It will be password protected and available exclusively to cast and crew, as well as Indiegogo backers.
